Job summary

Apple Tree Cove Animal Hospital, part of National Veterinary Associates, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) to join our caring team. You will provide comprehensive patient care, assist in surgery, and help educate clients on treatment plans, all while upholding a culture of compassion and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician license or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled patient care including IV catheter placement, venipuncture, fluid therapy, and medication administration.
• Perform dental prophylaxis, dental and digital radiographs, laboratory procedures, and diagnostic testing.
• Assist in surgical procedures, including anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure patient safety while minimizing distress.
• Communicate clearly with clients and coworkers about treatment plans and preventive care.
• Contribute to a positive hospital culture focused on high-quality medicine and compassionate service.
