Qualifications

• Proficiency in dental prophylaxis and radiography.

Job description

Eastown Veterinary Clinicis seeking an experienced LicensedVeterinary Technician (LVT) to join our team and support both outpatient care and procedural services, including surgery and dentistry.

We are seeking a versatile, client-focused technician who thrives in a dynamic general practice environment - balancing exam room care, client communication, and hands‑on procedural support. We value credentialed technicians for the clinical knowledge, judgment, and communication skills they bring across all areas of the hospital, helping elevate the quality of medicine, client experience, and patient care.

In this position, you will play a key role in both outpatient and procedural workflows, contributing to a consistent, high standard of care throughout the patient visit.

This role is ideal for technicians who enjoy variety in their day, are confident moving between exam room and procedure support, and want to fully utilize their clinical knowledge, technical skillset, and client communication abilities in a collaborative general practice environment.

Responsibilities include

• Supporting efficient exam room, outpatient, surgical, and dental workflows
• Performing anesthesia induction, monitoring, and recovery
• Assisting in surgery, and p erform dental procedures, including prophylaxis and radiography

Schedule and compensation

• Compensation:$ 25 - $28 per hour, for each hour worked
• This is a full‑time position, with availability needed Monday‑Friday. We aim for a 3.5 day workweek and are closed weekends!

• Bonus package: $2,000 based on active, good‑standing veterinary technician credentials in the state of Michigan

Minimum qualifications and skill set

• 5+ years of veterinary technician experience
• Active and good‑standingLicensed Veterinary Technician in the state of Michigan **
• Proficiency in the following skills:

  • Surgical assistance and aseptic technique
