Position Details

Banfield Pet Hospital is hiring full-time and part-time Licensed Veterinary Technicians (LVTs) for the following locations:

• Valley Stream Hospital: 14 West Circle, Valley Stream, NY 11581
• Levittown Hospital: 3545 Hempstead Turnpike, Levittown, NY 11756
• Garden City Park Hospital: 2135 Jericho Turnpike, Garden City Park, NY 11040

The pay range for this position is $25.32-$36.57 per hour, based on experience, skill, and location.

Who We’re Looking For

We seek passionate, skilled, and dedicated LVTs who believe in preventive care and thrive in a team environment. Candidates should hold a Veterinary Technician Licensure, Certification, or Registration (LVT, CVT, or RVT), or be Vet Tech students in the process of graduating and completing accreditation.

Responsibilities

1. Provide preventive and comprehensive care to pets.
2. Build strong relationships with pets and their owners.
3. Support veterinarians and the medical team to ensure quality care and efficient workflow.
4. Assist with surgeries and procedures according to state regulations.
5. Communicate effectively with clients about pet health concerns and treatments.
6. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure a clean, organized environment.
7. Mentor and support fellow team members.
