Job summary

Ethos Veterinary Health's VVC Fredericksburg hospital in Fredericksburg, VA is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician (ER/CC) to join a fast-paced, high‑caliber team. You will perform IV catheter placement, venipuncture, anesthesia induction and monitoring, surgical nursing, radiology, and perioperative care on diverse cases.

The position is full-time, three 12-hour shifts (days or swing), with weekend work and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Licensed/Credentialed Veterinary Technician (CVT/RVT/LVT) required.
• Emergency or critical care experience preferred.
• Strong technical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Licensed/Credentialed Veterinary Technician responsible for IV catheter placement, venipuncture, anesthesia induction & monitoring.
• Provide surgical nursing support and perioperative care across diverse cases.
• Assist with radiology, patient prep, and post-operative care.

Job description

Licensed Veterinary Technician (ER/CC) – CVT/RVT/LVT | $32–$38/hr + sign on bonus for eligible LVT's.

Location: Fredericksburg, VA

Full-Time | 3x12s | Day or Swing shift | 7am - 7pm or 12pm - 12am

Licensed Veterinary Technician Responsibilities

• Licensed/Credentialed Veterinary Technician with strong technical skills (to include placing IV catheters, venipuncture, administering medication, anesthesia induction & monitoring, patient preparation, surgical nursing, and perioperative nursing care, radiographs, etc.)
• Adaptable, calm under pressure, and compassionate in all situations
• Dedicated to lifelong learning and passionate about veterinary medicine
