$21.00/hr - $23.00/hr

Our Licensed Veterinary Technicians have the opportunity to make an impact in the lives of our clients and patients daily.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate nursing care
• Obtain laboratory samples, process, and interpret results (fecal/parasite analysis, ear cytology, skin cytology, urinalysis, blood smears)
• Surgery preparation, anesthetic monitoring, and recovery
• Perform dental prophys
• Perform diagnostic imaging
• Fill prescriptions and review directions with clients
• Patient restraint
• Communicate with clients regarding various topics
• Support other team members

Skills Required

• Exceptional communication skills for in-person and phone interactions
• Able to work under pressure and handle stressful situations while managing multiple tasks
• Attention to detail and excellent record keeping
• Perform venipuncture for phlebotomy and catheter placement
• Assist veterinarian with appointments and technical procedures (e.g., bandage change, anal gland expression)
• Computer skills and willingness to embrace technology
• Team-oriented and outgoing attitude
• Self-motivated to achieve results and maintain high standards
• Provide outstanding experience for clients and patients

Job Details

Type: Full-time or Part-time

Pay: $21.83 - $23.79 per hour

Expected hours: 20-35 per week
