Formación

• 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital
• Current Maine Veterinary Technician License or eligibility to obtain one
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong clinical skills including phlebotomy experience
• Must be detail-oriented and well organized

Responsabilidades

• Assist with patient care during chemotherapy, radiology, office visits and diagnostics
• Monitor patients undergoing chemotherapy treatments; verify doses and maintain catheters
• Perform routine and advanced treatments including injections, oral meds, blood draws, bandaging
• Provide comfort to patients and support to families
• Keep families updated with medical and financial information
• Support hospital team to deliver exceptional care to pets and owners
