Job summary

Veterinary Specialty Center Seattle, a Thrive Pet Healthcare Partner, is seeking a Licensed Veterinary Technician to join our Internal Medicine team in Lynnwood, WA. The role supports veterinarians, helps manage anesthesia, and contributes to high-quality patient care.

Full-time: Monday-Thursday 8a-6:30p. Pay range $27-$38 per hour, up to $41 for applicants with a VTS, and a robust benefits package as part of Thrive Pet Healthcare.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT/CVT/RVT) required or pending licensure.
• 1-2 years of clinical experience highly preferred - internal medicine experience is a bonus.
• Must have anesthesia experience.

Responsibilities

• Support veterinarians to ensure quality veterinary care, advocate for pets, and educate clients.
• Assist with surgeries and procedures in accordance with your state's Veterinary Practice Act outlined for credentialed veterinary technicians.
• Communicate with clients about health concerns and Thrive Membership options, medications, and additional treatments.
• Assist in maintaining relevant, comprehensive medical records with practice systems.
• Obtain health history from clients and maintain medical charts.
• Use safe restraining techniques, follow standard protocols, and sustain clean, sterile treatment areas.
