Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Renton, WA is seeking a full-time Licensed Veterinary Technician to provide direct patient care on-site. You will monitor vital signs, prepare animals for surgery, assist veterinarians, and help with anesthesia under supervision.

You will maintain medical records, educate clients, and support emergency and critical care as needed while ensuring a clean, organized clinical environment. Flexible scheduling including evenings, overnights, weekends and holidays is available.

Qualifications

• Experience with diagnostic tests and IV catheter placement.
• Anesthesia induction, maintenance, and recovery procedures.
• Clear, empathetic client education on treatment plans.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced 24-hour referral and emergency hospital.
• State license or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington; accredited program preferred.

Responsibilities
