Thrive Pet Healthcare Specialists in San Antonio seeks a Licensed Veterinary Technician on the Diagnostic Imaging team to support radiography, CT, and ultrasound procedures in a specialty hospital. You will collaborate with veterinarians, radiologists, and client service teams to prepare patients, ensure safe imaging workflows, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Veterinary Technician credentials required.
• 1+ years of experience in diagnostic imaging preferred.
• Experience handling, restraint, radiographic positioning, and sedation support.
• Familiarity with CT, ultrasound, PACS, and imaging workflows preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist imaging procedures (X-ray, CT, ultrasound).
• Prepare, position, and restrain patients for imaging with sedation support.
• Monitor patients to ensure safety and comfort during imaging.
• Assist with imaging setup, quality checks, and reporting equipment issues.
• Maintain accurate imaging records and PACS labeling/storage.
• Communicate estimates and patient updates with teams and clients.
