Dogwood Veterinary Specialty and Emergency is expanding its anesthesia team in Dunwoody, GA, opening October 2026. We seek an experienced Licensed Veterinary Technician to support advanced anesthesia, analgesia, and perioperative care in a fast-paced specialty and emergency setting.

Based in Dunwoody, the role includes on-call duties and collaboration with surgeons, specialists, and nurses. LVT credentials required; ventilator and advanced monitoring experience highly valued.

Qualifications

• Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT) required.
• 2+ years of veterinary clinical experience.
• Experience in anesthesia, surgery, specialty, emergency or critical care.
• Proficient in advanced anesthetic monitoring.
• Willingness to participate in on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for anesthesia and advanced procedures.
• Induction, intubation, maintenance, and recovery of anesthesia.
• Continuous monitoring of vital parameters during anesthesia.
• Operate and troubleshoot advanced anesthesia equipment.
• Support high-risk anesthesia cases and complex patients.
• Maintain accurate anesthesia records and treatment notes.
• Collaborate with surgeons, specialists, and nursing teams.
