Job summary

Provive Wellness of Brentwood is hiring a Licensed Therapist to join our outpatient team. You’ll provide individual, group, and family therapy in a supportive setting for adults, adolescents, and those with co-occurring disorders.

You will perform mental health and substance use assessments, use CBT/DBT/ACT, contribute to treatment planning, and maintain clinical documentation. A Tennessee license and at least 1 year of experience are required.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field.
• Active Independent Tennessee license (LPC-MHSP, LCSW, LMFT, or similar).
• At least 1 year of experience in mental health counseling or therapy.
• Strong communicator, team player, and committed to ongoing learning.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy in an outpatient setting (PHP, IOP, and traditional outpatient).
• Complete thorough mental health and substance use assessments to support treatment planning.
• Use evidence-based therapies like CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care.
• Facilitate psychoeducational and skills-based groups: anxiety, depression, relapse prevention, life skills, healthy coping, and more.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver whole-person care.
• Crisis intervention and risk assessment, including referrals and safety planning as needed.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation (EHR experience preferred).
