The position focuses on leading an outpatient team, ensuring high-quality clinical services and staff development. The ideal candidate holds an MSW, LMHC, or LMFT and Indiana licensure (LCSW/LMHC/LMFT) and will drive training, supervision, and compliance while supporting children and adults in the community.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy or related human services degree.
• Must possess and maintain licensure in Indiana as LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT.
• Experience leading outpatient teams and coordinating clinical services.

Responsibilities

• Provide ongoing training and technical assistance to promote team performance improvements.
• Oversee reporting, safety, facility, equipment, and business unit needs.
• Supervise staff, participate in hiring, and provide performance feedback.
• Ensure comprehensive orientation for new direct service staff (non-clinical, clinical, and compliance).
• Organize staff training and professional development activities.

Cummins Behavioral Health Systems, Inc. is seeking creative, clinical candidates with strong leadership skills for a career opportunity as a Licensed Therapist Team Lead. Qualified candidates should have a background in social work, counseling, or in mental health and have a passion to impact helping children and adults in an outpatient setting within Hendricks County.

Essential Functions as a Team Leader include:

• Provide ongoing training and technical assistance designed to promote team-based performance improvement initiatives
• Ensure that reporting, safety, facility, equipment, and other business unit needs are met
• Responsible for staff supervision, staff selection, and feedback on performance evaluations
• Ensure that all new direct service staff receives a comprehensive non-clinical, clinical and corporate compliance orientation
• Provide for/arrange staff training and professional development activities to meet the needs of direct service staff

Education/Experience:

• Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy or related human services degree.
• Must possess and maintain licensure in the state of Indiana as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
