Job summary

Sea Grove Recovery in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, is hiring licensed therapists for our new Outpatient (OP) building opening at the end of July. You will provide individual and group therapy as part of day-to-day treatment and recovery journeys.

The program includes PHP lodging and a day-long schedule. You’ll work within our substance use and co-occurring mental health treatment teams, delivering psychoeducation and supportive therapy to adults in a serene setting.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required.
• 1–3 years related work experience.
• Licensure as LLPC, LLMSW, LLMFT, or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic support for day-to-day treatment and recovery.
• Deliver individual and group therapy per ASAM standards.
• Conduct psychoeducational group activities for residential patients.

Sea Grove Recovery will provide substance use treatment for adults, as well as dual diagnosis treatment for adults with a co-occurring mental health disorder. The 41-bed facility is in a serene, wooded environment and is designed to maximize healing and meet the needs of every patient who attends treatment. Sea Grove will offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that takes place for most of the day throughout the week with PHP lodging available. The program allows for those in our care to receive treatments and therapies throughout the day in an environment conducive to healing and a treatment plan built around their individual needs. In addition to the substance use program, Sea Grove Recovery is equipped to provide treatment to those with a substance use disorder and a co-occurring mental health disorder. The therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic support for the day-to-day operations of a patient’s treatment and journey to recovery through individual and group therapy per the standards of the American Society of Addiction Medicine. The therapist is also responsible for providing psychoeducational group activities for patients in the residential program.
