Job summary

Universal Health Services' Sea Grove Recovery in Mount Pleasant, SC is hiring a licensed therapist for our new Outpatient (OP) building opening at the end of July. You will provide day-to-day therapeutic support for patients’ treatment journey through individual and group therapy as part of the PHP/day program.

The position focuses on adult substance use treatment and co-occurring mental health disorders, with psychoeducational activities and a tailored treatment plan for each patient.

Qualifications

• A master's degree in a relevant field and 1-3 years of related experience.
• Licensure or eligibility: LLPC, LLMSW, LLMFT, or higher.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual therapy and group therapy per ASAM guidelines.
• Deliver psychoeducational group activities for residential patients.
• Support day-to-day operations of treatment and patient recovery journey.

Located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Sea Grove Recovery will provide substance use treatment for adults, as well as dual diagnosis treatment for adults with a co-occurring mental health disorder. The 41-bed facility is in a serene, wooded environment and is designed to maximize healing and meet the needs of every patient who attends treatment. Sea Grove will offer a partial hospitalization program (PHP) that takes place for most of the day throughout the week with PHP lodging available. The program allows for those in our care to receive treatments and therapies throughout the day in an environment conducive to healing and a treatment plan built around their individual needs. In addition to the substance use program, Sea Grove Recovery is equipped to provide treatment to those with a substance use disorder and a co-occurring mental health disorder.

The therapist is responsible for providing therapeutic support for the day-to-day operations of a patient's treatment and journey to recovery through individual and group therapy per the standards of the American Society of Addiction Medicine.

The therapist is also responsible for providing psychoeducational group activities for patients in the residential program.
