Job summary

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider delivering comprehensive behavioral health and related services across Indiana. We are interviewing for a License Eligible School Based Therapist to serve youth and families in school, community and home settings.

The role requires a Master’s degree in a related field and Indiana licensure eligibility, with a $1,500 hiring bonus to support onboarding and start-up costs.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a qualifying mental health field required.
• 1 year of related experience preferred.
• Experience with ages 3–18 in school settings preferred.
• Knowledge of school and social service systems and child welfare preferred.
• License eligible in Indiana (LSW/LMHCA/LMFTA) with temporary license.

Aspire Indiana Health is a nonprofit provider of comprehensive “whole health” services including primary medical care, behavioral health, recovery services and programs addressing the social drivers of health such as housing and employment. Aspire has health centers in four Central Indiana counties serving Hoosiers of all ages and walks of life.

Position Summary

This position provides behavioral health and/or child welfare related services to youth and their families in school, community and/or home settings in order to achieve their identified goals.

Education and Experience

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling or other mental health related field from a college/university accredited by the US Department of Education required


• One (1) year of related experience highly preferred


• Prior experience with ages 3-18 in a school setting strongly preferred


• Community Mental Health experience highly preferred


• Must be knowledgeable of school and social service systems, special education, child welfare and/or juvenile probation systems and community resources highly preferred

Licensure

• Must be License Eligible by the State of Indiana as a Social Worker (LSW), Mental Health Counselor (LMHCA) or Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFTA) and must have temporary license until LSW, LMHCA or LMFTA becomes active

• Must possess/maintain a valid driver's license, current automobile insurance and a driving record that meets the guidelines and requirements of the organization


• Must have reliable transportation to transport self/others and to attend trainings and/or meetings
