Licensed Therapist, LCSW LMFT LPCC

Sierra Health and Wellness uses evidence-based methods to restore families, relationships, and self-worth. By transforming character, we help individuals affected by substance abuse and mental health issues regain their lives.

Our brand new, 15-bed mental health facility is located in Orangevale, CA. Our inpatient facility serves voluntary clients who receive specialized, personalized care from our staff.

Position available:

• Per-Diem - Hybrid (groups in person; other duties remote)

Essential Functions:

• Provide professional casework and clinical services to clients with mental and emotional disturbances
• Assess and monitor clients’ behaviors during treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse
• Collaborate with other professionals as a team member
• Participate in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy; interview clients and relatives
• Collaborate with other agencies for treatment
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation
• Attend training to stay current with mental health methodologies
• Operate computers and office equipment
• Communicate effectively in person and over the phone
• Analyze data, interpret procedures, and develop responses
• Perform duties under stressful conditions
• May have lead or special work coordination responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

• License as a mental health professional (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
• Master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling
• At least two years of experience in Drug and Alcohol counseling
• Knowledge of HIPAA, client confidentiality, and rights
• Current CPR and First Aid certifications
• Valid Driver’s License

Preferred Experience:

• 2-5 years in drug and alcohol or mental health counseling

Pay Range:

• Hourly: $49.33
