Job summary

JFS of Broward County Inc. in Davie, FL is seeking a Licensed Therapist to deliver behavioral health services to clients of various ages.

Tasks include intakes, assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, therapy, and discharge planning, with attention to confidentiality and quality care. The role requires Florida licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist), experience with children, teens, and families, and the ability to work in a Tamarac location with flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a mental health discipline and Florida licensure (LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, or Psychologist).
• Experience counseling children, teens, and adults; family/couples work preferred.
• Knowledge in trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapies.

Responsibilities

• Provide intake assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, therapy, and discharge planning.
• Maintain accurate records in an electronic health record system and complete related administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with the Behavioral Health team and participate in meetings and supervision.
