Job Overview

Licensed Therapist or Associate Therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) with Sierra Health and Wellness.

Essential Functions

• Perform journey-level professional casework and clinical services with mentally and emotionally disturbed clients
• Assess and monitor clients' behaviors while in treatment for chemical and alcohol abuse and dependency
• Work as a team member with other professionals
• Participate in evaluative and diagnostic staff conferences
• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy; interview clients and relatives
• Participate in collaborative treatment with representatives of other agencies
• Prepare verbal, written, and statistical reports
• Attend conferences, workshops, and training to maintain current awareness of mental health methodologies and issues
• Operate a personal computer and other office equipment
• Communicate effectively with others in person and over the telephone
• Analyze data, interpret directions, procedures and regulations, and develop appropriate responses
• Perform job duties under stressful conditions
• May be assigned some lead and special work coordination responsibilities

Education And Minimum Qualification

• Must obtain and maintain a license as a mental health professional regulated by a state board (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC)
• Must possess a master’s degree in social work, marriage and family therapy, or counseling
• Have at minimum two-year experience in drug and alcohol counseling
• Very familiar with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights
• Must possess a current CPR and First Aid certification
• Must possess a valid Driver’s License

Preferred Education And Experience

• Two to five years of experience in drug and alcohol counseling
• Bachelor's degree in a related field

Salary

Licensed Therapist Salary: $95,000 - $120,000

Associate Therapist Salary: $80,000 - $105,000
