Job summary

Protouch Staffing seeks a Licensed Clinical Therapist in Graham, NC to deliver behavioral health services to individuals, families, and groups. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based psychotherapy while coordinating care and documenting progress.

You will lead groups, monitor safety, respond to risk, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team. An active NC LCSW/LCMHC and experience with EHRs and telehealth are required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted North Carolina LCSW or LCMHC license required.
• Experience with behavioral health assessments and psychotherapy (individual, group, family).
• Experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred.
• Strong documentation and communication skills; ability to work in an interdisciplinary team.
• Experience with EHRs and secure telehealth platforms.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a Licensed Clinical Therapist to provide high-quality behavioral health services to individuals, families, and groups. The Therapist will conduct clinical assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, provide evidence-based psychotherapy, facilitate therapeutic groups, monitor client progress, coordinate care, respond to clinical and safety concerns, and maintain timely and accurate documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive behavioral health assessments and clinical evaluations.
• Develop and maintain individualized, person-centered treatment plans.
• Provide individual, family, and group psychotherapy using evidence-informed and trauma-responsive approaches.
• Facilitate groups focused on psychoeducation, coping skills, emotional regulation, relapse prevention, and recovery support.
• Monitor client progress and modify treatment interventions as clinically appropriate.
• Assess and respond to suicide risk, self-harm, substance use, abuse/neglect, and other safety concerns.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or another qualifying discipline from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted North Carolina LCSW or LCMHC license required.
• Clinical experience providing behavioral health assessments and individual/group psychotherapy.
• Experience with mental health and/or substance use disorders preferred.
• Strong clinical assessment, treatment planning, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Experience with electronic health records and secure telehealth platforms.
• Must successfully complete required background and credentialing screenings.

Licensure & Credentialing

• Maintain an active North Carolina LCSW or LCMHC license throughout employment.
• Maintain all required continuing education and professional licensing requirements.
• Complete required credentialing, training, and documentation requirements.
• Practice within professional scope, competence, payer requirements, and agency policies.
• Maintain professional liability coverage when required and not provided by the organization.
