Job summary

Plains Area Mental Health Center in Carroll, Iowa, seeks a Licensed Therapist for outpatient behavioral health work with both children and adults. You will develop individualized treatment approaches within a collaborative team and coordinate with psychiatrists, case managers, and other professionals.

The role starts with in-person work and may transition to a hybrid schedule, with up to two remote days weekly, depending on caseload and onboarding success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field.
• Current Iowa licensure as LMHC, LISW, or LMFT.
• Valid Iowa driver's license.
• Bilingual skills are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct behavioral health evaluations and assessments.
• Provide individual counseling and therapeutic services.
• Develop and maintain individualized treatment plans.
• Coordinate care with clients, families, providers, and other members of the care team.
• Participate in clinical consultation and team-based treatment planning.

Plains Area Mental Health is seeking a Licensed Therapist to join our behavioral health team in Carroll, Iowa. Schedule & Work Environment

This is a full-time opportunity with a Monday through Friday schedule and one scheduled evening each week. The position is generally 30–40 hours per week, with a preference for a 40-hour schedule that can be discussed based on the candidate's availability.

The position begins with in-person work and may transition to a hybrid arrangement after onboarding and establishment of an appropriate telehealth caseload. Hybrid scheduling may include up to two remote days per week. Occasional travel to satellite offices may also be required.

Compensation & Benefits

The salary range for this position is $60,000–$80,000 annually depending on experience, with a bilingual differential available.

Your Role
