Qualifications

  • Experience preparing individual returns (Form 1040) and schedules.
  • Experience with small business and self-employed taxes.
  • Solid knowledge of federal and state tax codes.
  • Proficient with tax software (TurboTax Pro, Lacerte).

Responsibilities

  • Provide in-person tax preparation and filing for individuals and small businesses using Intuit tools.
  • Review documents, identify deductions/credits, ensure tax compliance.
  • Advise clients on tax strategies and planning opportunities.
  • Verify return accuracy, resolve discrepancies, respond to IRS/state notices.
  • Maintain secure client records in Intuit systems.
  • Collaborate with in-store and remote teams to improve client experiences.
  • Educate clients on Intuit products such as TurboTax Pro and Tax Pro.
  • Stay current on federal and state tax regulations through ongoing training.
