Qualifications

• Experience preparing individual returns (1040 and schedules).
• Experience with small business tax prep and self-employed returns.
• Knowledge of federal and state tax codes and regulations.
• Proficiency with tax software (TurboTax/Tax Pro/Lacerte).

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tax preparation and filing services for individuals and small businesses using Intuit tools.
• Review financial documents, identify deductions and credits, and ensure compliance with current tax laws.
• Advise clients on tax strategies, planning opportunities, and potential impacts of life events.

• Stay current on federal and state tax regulations through ongoing training and certification renewals.
