• Perform vertical and horizontal control surveys and boundary surveys, with required calculations and tie-ins to subdivisions and property lines.
• Direct and manage survey crews and technicians to ensure survey accuracy and project progress.
• Coordinate and schedule crews and technicians; act as liaison between design and survey.
• Handle field work on complex projects as needed and ensure compliance with Arizona licensure.

Description

Team Fishel , the Best Choice Employer in the utility construction business, is hiring a Licensed Surveyor for our Phoenix, AZ operation.

The Licensed Surveyor is responsible for performing vertical and horizontal control surveys, boundary surveys and required calculations and computations as well as ties to subdivisions, property lines and government land corners. Responsible for project management duties and directing/managing survey crews and technicians, ensuring the accuracy of surveys and calculations, assisting the performance of the field work on complex projects as needed. Additional responsibilities include coordination and scheduling of crews and technicians as needed and acting as primary liaison between the design and survey. Surveyor must be a Professional Licensed Surveyor in the State of Arizona.

Bachelor's degree preferred or two-year degree from a technical school and/or a minimum of five years experience working as/with a licensed surveyor.

Experience in utility and/or general construction is a plus.

Must have general computer knowledge (MS Word, Excel, Windows OS, etc.)

Experience with AutoCAD preferred.

Must be registered as a Land Surveyor in the State of Arizona.

Knowledge and experience in survey methods, procedures and techniques including operation of optical, electronic, magnetic, and mechanical measuring devices

Starting pay for this position is $130,000 - $145,000 / annually depending upon experience.
