Job summary

SME is seeking a Licensed Professional Surveyor to join our land development and infrastructure team in Fishers, Indiana. You will work with junior and senior staff on ALTA, boundary and topographic projects, gaining valuable experience across energy, industrial and infrastructure markets.

Responsibilities include preparing survey documents, drawings in AutoCAD, managing project schedules, and communicating requirements to the team and clients.

Qualifications

Proficient with AutoCAD and surveying software.
Experience with ALTA, Boundary and Topographic surveys.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to manage project schedules and team communication.
Proficient in using surveying instruments (Total stations, GNSS, 3D scanning).

Responsibilities

Prepare survey documents and computations for ALTA, Boundary and Topographic surveys.
Prepare survey drawings and descriptions.
Manage project schedules and communicate requirements to the team.
Review data from field surveys, point clouds, GIS for plans and reports.
Ensure accuracy, safety, and compliance with references and statutes.

Bachelor's degree or higher
