Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must possess CAC-AD, CPC-AD, LCADC or LCPC certificates issued by the Maryland Board.
• All licenses/certifications must be maintained throughout employment.

Responsabilités

• Under supervision, provides diagnostic assessment, treatment planning, and skilled counseling to individuals in a substance use disorder treatment program.
• Conducts alcohol and drug use screening for various programs and applicants.
• Interviews and evaluates clients with complex problems related to alcohol/drug use.
• Provides case management to an active caseload; monitors progress and makes referrals as appropriate.
• Prepares all necessary forms and reports for client records and case management.
• Participates in staff conferences and acts as a member of the treatment team.
