Zusammenfassung

College Medical Center Phoenix, part of College Health Enterprises, seeks a Substance Abuse Therapist to deliver outpatient behavioral health services to individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders in Phoenix. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide evidence-based counseling to individuals, families, and groups.

The role requires active licensure in MFT/LCSW/Psychologist or equivalent in Arizona, plus minimum 2 years of related experience, strong English

Qualifikationen

Minimum 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals with serious mental illness.
Experience working with clients with substance use disorders.
Strong written and verbal communication in English.

Aufgaben

Conduct patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Facilitate group therapy and provide supportive individual counseling within scope of practice.
Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation including progress notes, updates, and discharge summaries.
Monitor patient progress, attendance, and participation in treatment.
Collaborate with physicians, families, case managers, and other providers to coordinate care and discharge planning.
Respond to crisis situations and implement behavioral interventions as needed.
Follow program policies, billing procedures, and mandatory reporting requirements.
Participate in treatment team meetings and complete other duties as assigned.
