Job summary

Pride in North Carolina, LLC, part of SUN Behavioral Health, is seeking a Licensed Substance Abuse Professional to join the Community Support Team. This role provides clinical support, crisis intervention, and evidence-based services to adults with behavioral health needs in North Carolina.

The LSAP works with the CST Team Lead to develop person-centered plans, engage in case consultations, and participate in trainings, while ensuring documentation meets Medicaid standards.

Qualifications

• Four-year degree in a human services field and two years of mental health experience.
• Licensed Substance Abuse Professional (CCS, LCAS, LCAS-A, or CADC).
• At least one year of experience with adults.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Team Lead to develop and update person-centered plans.
• Provide supportive counseling, crisis intervention, and skill development.
• Attend weekly case consultation meetings and clinical trainings.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in accordance with Medicaid standards.
