Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with 3+ years of structural engineering experience.
• Experience with industrial structural projects and materials.
• Knowledge of rotating and vibration analysis is expected.
• Excellent communication and ability to manage multiple clients.

Responsibilities

• Design structures resilient to human use and environmental conditions.
• Configure structures and oversee drawing production.
• Select appropriate foundation, building, and equipment support material.
• Inspect construction work for structural soundness and safety.
• Prepare reports, design criteria, estimates, and drawings.
• Conduct calculations on pressures, loads, and stresses.
• Provide technical advice on safe designs and construction.
• Obtain planning/building approvals and liaise with clients and engineers.
• Monitor contractor work and manage sub-contracts for structural projects.
• Inspect geotechnical properties and evaluate foundations.
