Responsibilities

All employees are expected to perform their duties in alignment with the vision and values of the organization. The person in this role is responsible for tasks that ensure a high level of customer satisfaction in a cost-effective manner. The Licensed Engineer oversees the safe and reliable operation of Power Plant equipment and machinery such as Steam Boilers, Cogeneration Units, Chillers, Emergency Generators, Compressors, Auxiliary Equipment, and Electrical Switchgear/Distribution Panels. They provide uninterruptible utility supplies to the facilities. Experience in operating Co-generation Boilers, Emergency Generators, Chillers, Compressors, and other auxiliary equipment is required.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of recent hospital or building maintenance experience.
• Steam Boiler License - Unlimited HP.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electro-mechanical systems, and uninterruptible power supplies.
• Knowledge of HAZMAT material handling.
• Basic electronics and computer skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Engineering graduate or equivalent training and experience.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering - Mechanical, Electrical, or related field.
