Job summary

Loyola Medicine, a member of Trinity Health, seeks a licensed sports athletic trainer to join its University Sports Medicine program. This full-time, day-shift role involves patient evaluation, rehabilitation planning, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, injury prevention, treatment, and equipment fitting in a clinical setting.

Requirements include a bachelor's degree, ATC licensure, CPR, and 1–2 years of experience (3–5 preferred).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience required; 3–5 years preferred.
• Licensed/Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) and CPR required.
• Phlebotomy certification training available if necessary.

Responsibilities

• Work in a clinical setting as a physician extender within a University Sports Medicine Program.
• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, education, rehabilitation planning, vitals, phlebotomy, injections, injury prevention, treatment, and equipment fitting.
• Supports physicians during outreach events and provides athletic training services to affiliated schools per NATA guidelines.
• Contributes to program growth through marketing, educational material development, and wellness event coordination.
• Ensures patient satisfaction, helps families navigate the system, and collaborates with program directors and providers.

What you will do:

As an Athletic Trainer(Illinois License Required)you will

Minimum Education: Required:Bachelors Degree

Preferred:Masters Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education

Compensation:

Pay Range: $43,721.60 - $67,787.20
