Argan Home Care is seeking an experienced Speech Therapist to meet with new patients, assess speech needs, and develop personalized treatment plans to help patients reach goals. Responsibilities include documenting care, observing progress, and adjusting milestones for best outcomes.

Qualifications

• Active state license for practicing speech therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong charting and documentation skills.
• Familiarity with basic computer programs, such as the Microsoft Office suite.
• Be able to pass a background check.
• Clean Florida driver’s license.
• CPR certified.

Responsibilities

• Meet with patients for the first time in their speech journey, answering introductory questions.
• Make evaluations and create treatment plans customized for that patient, working with them to set short and long term goals for their speech and wellness.
• Assist in the implementation of the treatment plan, adjusting as needed to ensure successful outcomes.
• Maintaining excellent records of patient needs, care, and outcome.
• Work closely with the family of the patients and the patients itself to ensure they have the knowledge and tools they need for success.
