Job summary

Appellation Lodi - Wine & Roses Resort and Spa is seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to deliver therapeutic and relaxation treatments, while building connections with guests. You will administer massage, maintain supplies, follow safety protocols, and provide exceptional service in a collaborative spa environment at our Lodi, California resort.

Requires CAMTC certificate and 500+ hours education; Swedish, Deep Tissue, Prenatal modalities; ability to assess guest needs and maintain

Qualifications

• CAMTC certificate required to practice massage.
• Minimum 500 hours of education from an accredited school.
• Knowledge of physiology and massage modalities.
• Experience with Swedish, Deep Tissue, and Prenatal massage.
• Ability to assess guest needs and maintain professionalism.
• Experience with essential oils and their calming effects.

Responsibilities

• Administer all massage and body care services as directed by Spa Director.
• Maintain inventory controls of supplies and use them efficiently.
• Be familiar with contraindications of skin and products.
• Follow Blood Borne Pathogen procedures at all times.
• Provide treatments according to established procedures for quality.
• Ensure punctuality for appointments and maintain room cleanliness.
• Assist in locker/waiting area and laundry as needed.
• Handle guest complaints per spa procedures.
