Job summary

Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a Licensed Spa Cosmetologist to deliver professional hair styling, cosmetic services, and skin treatments with a strong emphasis on cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

The role includes educating guests on services, maintaining sanitation standards, and supporting cost controls while delivering outstanding guest experiences. This position is commission-based, with team leadership and collaboration at its core.

Qualifications

• 2 years minimum spa/salon/stylist experience preferred.
• Leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others.
• Must possess thorough knowledge of hair and skin and have excellent cleanliness and sanitation skills and be willing to train in the spa’s specific facial, hair and skin treatment offerings.

Responsibilities

• Provide consistent professional styling of hair, to include but not limited to: color, bleach, frost or condition hair, adding hairpieces and weaves, relaxers, texturizers, perms, and restorative treatments.
• Provide consistent professional cosmetics that are appropriate for the client’s coloring and skin tone, shape, trim, pluck and color eyebrows, or assist in the removal of unwanted facial hair.
• Provide consistent professional skin treatments by selecting, applying or recommending masks, anti-age creams, exfoliate, and moisturizers that best suit the guests’ needs.
• Properly care for equipment and use proper amounts of product to assist with cost controls.
• Have complete knowledge and understanding of all services and products while educating and training guests in these areas.
