Job summary

Monroe Health & Rehab Center is seeking an experienced Social Worker to support the Director in meeting residents' medical, emotional, and social needs. You will help plan, implement, and evaluate social services across the community, ensuring compliance with applicable standards and policies.

The role requires a high school diploma, an active social work license, and experience in long-term care or behavioral health.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Current, unencumbered Social Work license in the practicing state may be required by law.
• Experience in long-term care and behavioral health is preferred.
• Healthcare experience in social services, direct care, or hospitality is a plus.
• Ability to communicate in English and follow verbal and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director to meet the medical, emotional, and social needs of residents on an individual basis.
• Help plan, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the Social Services Department operations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local standards and the community's policies and procedures.
