Job summary

Lane ESD seeks Speech Language Pathologists (SLP) for the 2026-27 school year in Lane County, Oregon. Multiple positions are available at 1.0 FTE, with placement according to the licensed salary schedule at hire and an Exempt status.

Benefits include medical, dental, vision, paid leaves and holidays, and PERS. The SLP will design and implement language and communication programs for eligible students, participate in IEP and MDT meetings, provide staff training, and coordinate augmentative

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Communication Disorders required.
  • Oregon teaching license with relevant endorsement or state licensure required.
  • ASHA CCC-Speech (CCC-SLP) preferred.
  • Experience with students with moderate/severe disabilities preferred.
  • Experience with low/high tech augmentative communication systems preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Complete formal and informal assessments of speech, language, and communication needs.
  • Design and implement speech/language programs for students in school and community settings.
  • Participate in IEP/ MDT meetings to determine appropriate interventions.
  • Provide staff training and data collection for language programs.
  • Coordinate augmentative communication systems and materials as needed.
  • Maintain confidential assessment and program records and Medicaid billing documentation.

Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology/ Communication Disorders
Oregon teaching license with Speech Impaired or Communications Disorder Endorsement and/or a State of Oregon Speech-Language Pathology License
ASHA CCC-Speech (CCC-SLP)
Experience working with students with moderate/severe disabilities
Experience with augmentative communication systems
Valid Oregon Driver's License
