Job summary
American Cruise Lines is seeking a Licensed Engineer to oversee the technical operation, maintenance, and safe performance of shipboard systems across our fleet. You will monitor propulsion, auxiliary, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems while coordinating repairs and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities include 24-hour response to issues, collaboration with Hotel Officers and Service Crew, and promoting a safety culture on board.
Qualifications
- MMC required for licensed engineer.
- Experience with diesel machinery, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and maintain shipboard machinery.
Responsibilities
- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot shipboard machinery, including propulsion and electrical systems.
- Provide 24-hour response for technical issues and emergencies.
- Coordinate repairs and maintenance with ship officers and external contractors.
- Ensure compliance with maritime regulations and safety standards.
