Qualifications

• Valid Rhode Island Sheet Metal License required.
• 3+ years of sheet metal fabrication experience, preferably in HVAC.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC duct fabrication methods and SMACNA standards.
• Ability to read blueprints, mechanical drawings and fabrication layouts.
• Experience operating sheet metal fabrication equipment safely and efficiently.
• Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in a physically demanding shop.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate rectangular, round, and specialty HVAC ductwork from galvanized sheet metal.
• Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and fabrication specifications.
• Measure, cut, bend, assemble, and finish sheet metal components to precise dimensions.
• Operate brakes, shears, rollers, plasma tables, lock formers, and other shop equipment.
• Ensure all fabricated materials meet quality standards and project specifications.
• Coordinate production schedules with project managers and install crews.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized fabrication shop.
• Inspect finished work for quality, fit, and proper installation.
• Follow OSHA regulations and company safety procedures.
• Assist with inventory management and material usage to minimize waste.

Restivo's Heating & Air Conditioning is looking for a skilled Licensed Sheet Metal Fabricator to join our team. In this role, you'll fabricate high-quality sheet metal components and HVAC ductwork that support our residential and commercial installation teams.

What You'll Own

• Fabricate rectangular, round, and specialty HVAC ductwork using galvanized sheet metal and other materials.
