Qualifications

• Must have NYS Security License.
• Active police officer certification required to obtain NYS Security Guard license within 90 days of hire.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Basic computer skills and written communications.
• One year minimum security or law enforcement experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs security and safety rounds as assigned.
• Ensures offices and suites are secured.
• Responds to calls for service in a timely manner.
• Reports suspicious activity to Lead Security Officer or designee.
• Identifies hazards and initiates corrective measures or alerts supervisor.
• Completes written incident reports.
• Prepares property reports and secures valuables.
• Uses department camera to document incidents.
• Pickup hours as needed at Acute care facilities.
