Job summary

Securitas, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Security Officer to join our protection team. The role requires vigilance, reliable service, and the ability to work across shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Active Unarmed DCJS license preferred but not required.
• Open availability for all shifts; weekend availability mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at an assigned client site to ensure security and safety.
• Monitor premises, including patrolling, to deter disturbances.
• Provide customer service and information to client employees and customers.

Wage: $16.50-$17.00/ hour

Looking to become armed? Securitas is offering an Armed class at the end of each month. Candidates must be able to attend an unpaid 4-day training course and be ready to work immediately upon completion. Must have at least 1 year of security, law enforcement, or military experience. Valid driver's license required. Active Unarmed DCJS license preferred but not required. Open availability for all shifts is required. Weekend availability is mandatory.

Security Officer/Guard

• Must have excellent Customer Service skills
• Security positions require you pass our drug screen and background check
• Must be able to meet and continue to meet any applicable state, county, and municipal licensing requirements for Security Officers/Guard

Job Requirements of the Security Officer/Security Guard include but are not limited to:

• Security Officers/Security Guards observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel.
• Frequent sitting, standing and walking, which may be required for long periods of time, and may involve climbing stairs and walking up inclines and on uneven terrain.
• Additional physical requirements of the security officer/guard may include frequent lifting and/or moving up to 10 pounds and occasional lifting and/or moving up to 25 pounds
