Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a licensed clinical professional to provide comprehensive behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and families in a school-based setting with potential outpatient work. The role emphasizes diagnostics, evidence-based interventions, and collaborative care with school personnel and families.

The ideal candidate has experience with CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed approaches, and LICENSING as PLMHP/LMHP is preferred.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or another human services related field.
• Minimum of one year of post-master’s clinical experience with major mental illness, counseling/therapy, and/or substance use/abuse treatment.
• Nebraska PLMHP or LMHP license required; LADC and CMFT preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and determine levels of care.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans; provide psychotherapy and counseling.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans; collaborate with other providers.
• Crisis intervention and safety management; respond to crises and provide psychoeducation.
