Job summary

Sharkey’s Cuts for Kids in White Bear Lake is seeking a Licensed Salon Manager to lead a team of stylists for our Grand Opening. You’ll be instrumental in launching a brand-new salon with owners who invest in their people and culture.

We offer a supportive, family-friendly environment with work-life balance, a $40–$55/hour pay range including tips, immediate payout of tips, annual raises, and opportunities for profit sharing and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Cosmetology manager license required in Minnesota.
• 5+ years behind the chair with leadership experience a plus.
• Proven ability to coach and develop a stylist team.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of stylists.
• Oversee scheduling, inventory, and daily operations.
• Drive revenue through service, teamwork, and local marketing.
• Recruit, hire, and develop a cohesive stylist team.
• Model high technical standards and coach as needed.

What You’ll Do

What You Bring

• Valid Minnesota Cosmetology Manager’s License (required)
• 5+ years behind the chair; leadership or management experience a strong plus

• Ability to build, coach, and energize a team
