Job summary

Bacon Plumbing, Heating, Air, and Electric is hiring licensed residential electricians to inspect, diagnose, and repair electrical systems in homes. You will ensure compliance with Local and National Electrical Codes and provide customers with repair or replacement options.

Responsibilities include directing service activities, educating clients on heating and cooling systems, and invoicing repairs. Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks and maintain a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• Current TDLR license or equivalent, Wireman/Journeyman/Master.
• 2+ years of residential electric experience.
• In-depth knowledge of the Electrical trade.
• Excellent customer service and sales skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in weekly huddles with the Electric Service Manager.
• Diagnose & repair residential electric applications per Local and National Codes.
• Inspect electric systems and equipment for defects and provide repair/replacement options.
• Educate clients on their heating and air conditioning systems and maintenance requirements.
• Develop client rapport by communicating effectively with customers and providing excellent customer service.
• Communicate daily with dispatch to schedule work orders.
• Diagnose malfunctioning systems and locate the cause of breakdowns.
• Inspect systems to ensure compliance with electrical codes.
• Accurately estimate and invoice repairs and projects.
• Perform physically demanding tasks such as digging trenches, lifting heavy objects, and working in extreme conditions.
