Registered Dietitians play a vital role in improving the health and quality of life for residents by assessing nutritional status and collaborating with healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments using clinical knowledge to identify residents' nutritional needs and risks.
• Interview residents, family members, and legal representatives to gather information for care planning.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary and clinical teams.
• Conduct meal observations and interview staff and residents to ensure nutritional needs are met.

Qualifications:

• Must hold and maintain current registration from the Commission on Dietetics Registration.
• Must hold a current license in the practicing state(s).
• Preferred: Experience in nutrition documentation.
