Holy Name Medical Center is seeking a Recreational Therapist to plan and conduct art, recreation, music, and therapy sessions to improve patients’ physical, cognitive, and emotional well-being.

Responsibilities include monitoring progress, documenting treatment plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Eligible candidates hold a Bachelor's in Recreational Therapy and have 1–3 years of related experience.

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree in Recreational Therapy.
• 1–3 years in recreational therapy, art therapy, group therapy, or behavioral health.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor patient progress or responses to treatment.
• Document/record patient progress and treatment plan.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop the plan of care.
• Engage with patients and families to build rapport and provide treatment.
• Conduct therapies (group, art, recreation, music, pet therapy).
• Support clinical staff and assist with daily living activities.
• Help patients develop social skills to stay independent.
• Assist patients in coping with stress, anxiety, or depression.
• Document and analyze progress to adjust treatment plans.
