Job summary

OSF HealthCare is seeking a Radiology Technologist Care Guide to support patient registration, payments, rooming, and radiologic procedures in outpatient clinics. The role includes assisting providers, preparing patients, performing x-rays, discharging, and following up to maximize patient experience.

The position may involve floating between facilities. Qualified candidates have a formal radiography program, ARRT registry eligibility or certification, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Completion of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degree.
• Licensed with IEMA; ARRT registry eligible; BLS for Health Care Providers within 2 weeks of hire; ARRT registry within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Register patients, collect payments, and room patients.
• Assist providers with care and treatment and prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
• Perform x-rays, discharge patients, and follow up with patients.
• Float between clinics as needed.
