Qualifications

Fully Licensed Rad Tech - Required Qualifications

Education:

• Completion of a formal Radiography program with associated certificate or degree

License/Certifications:

• Licensed with IEMA
• American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers) completed within 2 weeks of hire
• ARRt (R) registry eligible
• Must complete ARRT registry within 6 months of hire

Other requirements/information:

• May be required to float between clinics as needed

Other skills/knowledge:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent, previous experience with an electronic health record and phlebotomy
• Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Knowledge of Epic
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
• Discretion, good judgment, diplomacy, decision making, and a customer service attitude

Licensure/Certification:

• Current certification as a radiology technician with The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists
• Current American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)

Limited License Rad Tech - Required Qualifications

Education:

• High School Diploma/ GED

Experience:

• 1 year healthcare experience

Licensure/ Certification:

• Limited scope testing certification provided by ARRT
• American Heart Association (BLS for Health Care Providers)

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Solid computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft software
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented
• May be required to float between clinics as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a medical office assistant or CNA or equivalent, previous experience with an electronic health record
• Knowledge of urgent care medical specialty and medical terminology
• Knowledge of Epic
• Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
