Job summary

AAR Corp in Rockford, Illinois, is seeking an Inspector, QC-Licensed to perform inspections on civil aviation articles according to manufacturer data and airworthiness directives.

Responsibilities include verifying workmanship, performing incoming to final inspections, and reviewing maintenance records to ensure compliance. The role requires 1–2 years of aviation experience and 1+ years QC experience, with an AA degree preferred; work is in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 Years aviation experience required; 1+ years QC experience preferred.
• Associate of Arts (AA) degree or equivalent from 2-year college or technical school, preferred.
• Have been exercising their airmen privileges and actively engaged, for the last 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Verifies work performed on aviation articles is performed in compliance with manufacturer data and customer data.
• Performs incoming, primary, hidden damage, in-process, and final inspections.
• Review maintenance records, documentation, and logbooks to ensure repairs, inspections, and documentation have been completed in accordance with the current data; authorized to approve work for return to service.
• Perform task as assigned relating to the privileges granted under 14 CFR Part 65.
• Observe company safety requirements while carrying out tasks.
