Job summary

PruittHealth is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to support patient care and help implement the prescribed therapy plan. You will collaborate with therapists, perform clinical tasks, and ensure timely documentation according to policy.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid PTA license in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE accredited school; foreign-trained applicants must have program deemed equivalent by a credentialing organization approved by the APTA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the Physical Therapy plan/treatment as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician.
• Perform clinical tasks, documentation, and communication per policy.
• Follow established policies and procedures related to scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care.
• Complete required orientation, in-services, and trainings timely.
• Perform other duties as directed by supervisor.
