Job summary

PruittHealth in Georgia–Athens is seeking a licensed Physical Therapy Assistant to contribute to patient care. This full-time role offers competitive compensation up to $100,000 annually, based on experience, schedule and location, plus a Stay & Earn sign-on bonus and comprehensive benefits.

You will assist in executing the treatment plan under supervision, document care, and participate in merit increases, career growth programs, and preceptorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Licensed Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of practice.
• Graduate of a CAPTE-accredited program; foreign-trained must be evaluated for equivalence by a credentialing organization approved by the APTA.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the physical therapy care plan as prescribed by the evaluating therapist and physician.
• Perform clinical tasks, documentation, and communications per policy.
• Follow established policies and procedures within scope of practice.
• Recognize and respond to priorities in patient care.
• Complete orientation, in-services, and trainings timely and successfully.
• Perform other related duties as directed by supervisor.
