Job summary

Champion, Partners in Rehab is seeking a Full-Time SNF Floater PTA to join our Alabama team, offering 32–40 hours per week in the Gadsden area with coverage across nearby facilities.

Responsibilities include performing physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed therapist, supervising Rehab Technicians, documenting treatments, and contributing to plans of care. Requirements: graduation from an accredited PTA program, Alabama licensure, and COVID vaccination preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimal education: Graduation from an accredited school for Physical Therapist Assistants.
• No experience required but desired.
• COVID vaccination preferred (exemption possible).
• Licensure by the Alabama Board of Physical Therapy (pt.alabama.gov).

Responsibilities

• Treat patients after evaluation by a Registered Physical Therapist.
• Participate in in-service training for clinical staff.
• Consult with the physical therapist on patient progress and plan of care.
• Interact with other departments regarding patient progress.
• Carry out PT procedures per the Plan of Care.
• Provide home treatment instructions with the PT.
• Document all treatments per department policies.
